On July 1st, on the special day of the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Li Zhigang, a member of the Hubei Calligraphers Association, a director of the Calligraphy Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Education Society, and a vice chairman and secretary general of the Calligraphy Education Professional Committee of the Hubei Provincial Education Society, and Zhang Shenghua, a member of the Hubei Calligraphers Association and an academic member of the Academic Committee of the Hubei Provincial Calligraphy Education Professional Committee, visited our school to guide the calligraphy education work.

As an experimental school of calligraphy education in Hubei Province, our school has always attached great importance to the calligraphy education of teachers and students, and specially invited famous calligraphers to come to the school as calligraphy teachers, insisting on "writing every day" for half an hour every day, and regularly carrying out calligraphy competitions and exhibitions. It has also built a calligraphy and painting museum to collect and display nearly 200 paintings and calligraphy works of the top ten calligraphers and painters in modern China, members of the Hubei Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Association, and some teachers and students.

In order to welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the 11th National Congress of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the 10th Opening Ceremony of the China Writers Association, our school recently held the 4th Calligraphy and Painting Competition and Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of "Welcoming the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Setting Sail for a New Journey".

Vice Chairman Li Zhigang and his entourage observed the 4th Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of Teachers and Students of our school, as well as calligraphy and painting art museums, Chinese culture museums and other places for calligraphy education activities.

After the visit, in the team activity center, Chairman Gao Kaijun, Chief Inspector Tian Yi, Director of the Sports and Art Department Chen Chao and other school leaders reported to Vice President Li and his party on the calligraphy education activities carried out by our school. Vice President Li fully affirmed the calligraphy education work of Xingzhi School, and believed that the calligraphy education of our school has understanding, teachers, venues, courses, actions, effects, connotations and spaces, and many practices are worth promoting and learning from.

Gao Kaijun, chairman of the board of directors, said that he would further take the Ministry of Education's "Guiding Outline for Calligraphy Education in Primary and Secondary Schools" as a guideline, make every effort to promote the calligraphy education of our school, and make unremitting efforts to build our school into a model school for calligraphy education.

After the discussion, Li Zhigang, vice chairman of the Calligraphy Education Professional Committee of Hubei Provincial Education Society, and Zhang Shenghua, member of the committee, donated ink treasures to our school on the spot.
